Misconceptions

A lot of people have misconceptions about romance novels. My mother is one of those people. She supports my dream to one day be a published writer but she thinks writing a Harlequin is easy. She said once I wrote the first one all I have to do is change the occpuations and name of the characters and I can crank out another one. The plots are all the same to her. As if! Of course she hasn't read a harlequin since the seventies.
