Yahoo Group
Today I started a yahoo group. The other yahoo writers group I belong to seems to have died. It could be a temporary thing and the members will come back and post soon but I thought I would try having my own group.
I tried that at msn groups and only a few people joined. With msn it took 60 days before it was even listed in the msn group seach listings.
The purpose of this group is just to share the up and downs of being a unpublished writer.

What a creative way to expound on your own writing dreams, Sara. Here's wishing you every success with your group.

Kelley,
Thank you for joining. Pass the word on to any aspiring writers you know, if you don't mind. The group is very informal. Just a place to post thoughts on the feelings assoicated with being an unpublished writer.

Susan,
Thanks for the well wishers. These groups are hard to start and even harder to keep going. We shall see how it works out.

Sara, I'd love to drop in but I don't know what to say.

I'll tell anyone I know.
Susan, I just posted a bit about myself and what I write. Then I'll just go back and respond to anyone who comments or post what I have been working on ect.

Susan,
the first question I asked on my new site was
What is your goal for this week?
The purpose of the group is to support each other as we work toward publication.

Hi Sara & Kelly,
ok, ok...I've joined your Yahoo group and put up my first posting and it felt so enjoyable, Sara, it really did.
Kelly, thanks for the cue. I'm such a dunce at these things.
Sara, I promise to update pretty regularly like once in two days if not everyday. ok
lots of love

Hi again Sara, I've placed the url link to your forum on my sidebar content with a little announcement. And it's right upfront too, underneath the list of My Writings. Hope this helps.

Thank you, Susan. This yahoo group is already going much better than the msn group I started a year ago. That group was like a ghost town.

Ashley,
I am glad that you are enjoying it so far. The journey to publication is usually a long one and sometimes only other writers know how we feel. I am thrilled I have everyone at the group to share my feelings with.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
