I encouraged several writer friends to do NaNo this year, from the soap opera fan site I visit. I'm thrilled they are taking part. Its fun to see others jump in and ride this crazy train.

You rock! Anybody who encourages so many people to try their hand at all this madness deserves a pat on the back. It's a great experience, trying to write a novel in a month. Doesn't look like I'll succeed this year, but it's made me think a lot about the writing process and what it requires of me.

I posted two more chapters today, and have more that are handwritten to get typed in, over 7,000 words now, but I don't know if I will succeed at NaNo this year.

It's typical...I come back in from the blogging cold only to find a number of my old blogging companions have either disappeared altogether or aren't blogging so regularly. I'll put it down to you all writing busily elsewhere!
