Bridesmaids

So my new project, with the working title Bridesmaids, I am thinking of breaking up into 3 - 5 sections within the book. For example, if there are three characters each would have their name heading up a section of the book and that would discuss their wedding. Or I could just writer chapters with titles. But i am thinking of writing this as first person so that is why I want to make it clear who is speaking.

Heroine in Jackson's story

I did come up with a name for Jackson's leading lady, Natalia. He will be working on a case, as a private eye, that brings him into direct conflict with a case she is working on as a FBI agent. I gave up on the idea of giving her a plain name. None of those seemed to fit. I am not sure if it is because this heroine is not plain- she is fiesty, sexy and bold- or if it is because I do not like plain names.

Dry Spell

When I was writing a lot I posted in this blog often. But since I haven't been writing at all lately I haven't been blogging either. I want to get back to both. I want to write several complete manuscripts before I submit anything to a publisher and I am only wasting more time by not writing now.
I have been keeping up with the yahoo writers group I joined. The posts all come directly to my email which is great for getting my mind refocused on writing. I was trying to not work on any other mss until I finished Come Back to Me but all that has accomplished is not writing at all when I am stuck on CBTM. So I think I will try to work on this idea I have for a chick lit book about 4 friends who are all bridesmaids.

On Not Writing

I have not written anything more on my novel since my last post. It is so frustrating that my writing life is so sporadic. I have all the time in the world, these days, to write but inspiration is not always there.
